Terms of Use
These terms describe the agreements that apply when you use iCasting, whether as a client, as talent, or as a visitor.
Last updated: July 2026
1. Acceptance of the terms
iCasting is a trade name of IQ-Concepts B.V., with its registered office at Luttekestraat 68, 8011 LS Zwolle, and registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (Kamer van Koophandel) under number 73363766. By creating an account or using iCasting, you agree to these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree with (part of) these terms, you may not use the platform.
These terms apply to everyone who visits or uses iCasting, regardless of whether you have signed up as a client, as talent, or simply browse the platform without an account.
2. Use of the platform
iCasting offers an online environment where clients can post casting jobs and talent can sign up and respond to jobs. iCasting acts as an intermediary platform in this respect and is not itself a party to the agreements that clients and talent make with each other.
You may only use the platform for legitimate casting purposes. It is not permitted to:
- post false or misleading profile information;
- use the platform for purposes unrelated to casting or talent brokerage;
- deploy automated software to collect data from the platform without permission;
- harass, threaten, or otherwise harm other users.
3. Right of withdrawal
If you sign up as a private individual (not acting in the course of a profession or business) for a paid iCasting service, you generally have 14 days under the law after concluding the agreement to withdraw from it without giving reasons. You can exercise this right by reporting it within the deadline via the contact page.
If you are a client acting in the course of your profession or business, this statutory right of withdrawal does not apply. If you explicitly request immediate access to a paid service within the withdrawal period and declare your consent to this, the right of withdrawal lapses as soon as the service has been fully performed.
4. Responsibilities of the user
You are responsible for the accuracy and currency of the information in your profile, including photos, descriptions and contact details. iCasting reserves the right to adjust or remove profiles that evidently contain incorrect or misleading information.
Clients are responsible for the content of the casting jobs they post and for complying with applicable laws and regulations, including rules regarding the employment of minors. Talent is responsible for assessing whether a job is suitable and safe before responding to it.
You are required to keep your login details confidential. Activities that take place under your account are attributed to you, unless you can demonstrate that there was misuse by a third party beyond your control.
5. Obligations of talent
If you have signed up as talent, you agree to comply with the following rules when using iCasting. It is not permitted to:
- post incorrect or misleading information about yourself, including manipulated photos that give a false impression of your appearance;
- post photos or videos containing nudity, or of minors without the express consent of a parent or legal guardian;
- post recognizable images of other people without their consent;
- use the platform for illegal, criminal or otherwise unlawful activities;
- carry out security tests or similar technical actions on the platform yourself;
- share confidential information obtained via the platform with third parties;
- post content that incites discrimination, hatred or violence.
If you are no longer looking for casting jobs, we ask you to delete your profile or set it to inactive via your account settings.
6. Intellectual property
All rights to the name iCasting, the logo, the design, and the underlying technology of the platform belong to iCasting or its licensors. Nothing in these materials may be reproduced or made public without prior written consent.
By uploading photos, videos or other content, you grant iCasting a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display this content within the platform, for example on your profile or in search results. You remain the owner of your content and may delete it at any time. See also our copyright page for more details.
7. Liability
iCasting makes every effort to keep the platform as reliable and safe as possible, but cannot guarantee that the service is always error-free or available without interruption. iCasting is not liable for damage arising from agreements between clients and talent, as these are made outside the platform.
To the extent permitted by law, iCasting's liability is limited to the amount you have paid to iCasting in the twelve months preceding the event causing the damage. See also our disclaimer for additional provisions.
8. Complaints procedure
Do you have a complaint about our services? Report it via the contact page, with as clear a description as possible. We will confirm receipt of your complaint and aim to respond substantively within 30 days. If we cannot resolve the matter together, you can submit the dispute to the competent court, see Article 10.
9. Changes
iCasting may amend these Terms of Use from time to time, for example to bring them in line with new legislation or platform features. In the event of significant changes, we will inform users by email or a notice on the platform. Continued use of iCasting after a change constitutes acceptance of the amended terms.
10. Applicable law
These Terms of Use and all agreements arising from them are governed exclusively by Dutch law. Disputes that cannot be resolved by mutual agreement will be submitted to the competent court of the Overijssel District Court (rechtbank Overijssel), unless mandatory consumer law prescribes a different competent court.
